Take a hike!
That sums up my life outside work these days. When I started this spring with a goal of 5 logged mi/wk, I struggled to get a consistent 1-mi walk in first thing each day. Now my weekly goal is 20 miles, and a 2+ mi AM walk is becoming more common.
Maybe for some of you that’s nothing, but for me it’s great progress. And the more I walk, the more energy and inspiration I find. I am exploring more of my neighborhood, my town, and my region, and I have just signed up for the Summit Metro Parks Fall Hiking Spree, so I foresee even more hiking fun.
